At its Fifth Annual Edition of the 100 Most influential Leaders in Africa, held on Friday 14th April, 2023, at the British Council in Accra, Ghana, the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Sierra Leone, Francis Ben Kaifala Esq. has again been recognized and honored as one of the " 100 Most Influential Leaders on the continent of Africa".
On the receipt of the Award, "The People's Commissioner", Francis Ben Kaifala, had this to say, as he wrote on his social media platforms as follow:
“At the British Council Accra, Africa continued to celebrate us for our EXEMPLARY and RESULT-FOCUSED anti-corruption campaign in Sierra Leone as I was named and awarded among "100 Most Influential Leaders in Africa".
Dedicated to HE President Bio who has changed the Story of Sierra Leone with UNFLINCHING COMMITMENT and PRESIDENTIAL WILL in the fight against corruption! Sierra Leone's fortunes in the fight against corruption have never been better than these 5 years of his Presidency!”
The erudite lawyer in effect, dedicated the Award and recognition to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Brigadier Retired Dr. Julius Maada Wonnie Bio for his exemplary and outstanding support to the fight against corruption, manifested in an unmatched Presidential Will, the diligence of staff at the ACC, the partners and people of Sierra Leone.
This resounding feat is unarguably linked to the revolutionary leadership Francis Ben Kaifala has provided in the campaign against corruption, in and out of Sierra Leone, which undoubtedly is one of the World's most insidious plagues.
The Award ceremony was organized by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation, and it followed the ACC Commissioner’s meritorious selection on the 23rd January, 2023.
This Award comes in the wake of the plethora of Awards, Laurels and Accolades the ACC Czar has received and bagged within and outside of Sierra Leone.
The Award is certainly another recognition of the significant progress, hardwork, and gains Sierra Leone continues to make in the fight against graft and how, Africa and the World are appreciating our efforts and strides.
It could be recalled that since he took over the mantle of leadership at the ACC for some fours now, the young, dynamic, astute, sober and focused Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala, has been able to successfully re-energize and recalibrate the fight against corruption in all spheres.
Therefore, the Commission will continue to provide the leadership required in the fight against corruption, for the growth and development of Sierra Leone.
Hearty congratulations and bravo to the ACC Commissioner, the Government and People of Sierra Leone.
