The Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Francis Ben Kaifala Esq., alongside the Commission, has once again been honoured for outstanding leadership and institutional excellence at the National Professional Awards 2025.
The awards ceremony, which took place on Saturday, 17th January 2026, at the Raddison Blu Hotel Freetown, was organised by the African Consulting Group (ACG) as part of its 10th Edition of the National Professional Awards. The event recognises distinguished individuals and institutions whose contributions have had a significant impact on national development and professional excellence in Sierra Leone.
At the ceremony, Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala Esq. was awarded the Leadership Excellence Award for his result-oriented and transformational leadership of the country’s anti-graft agency. These gains have earned the Commission both local and international acclaim.
In addition to the Commissioner’s personal honour, the Anti-Corruption Commission was also presented with the Institutional Excellence Award in recognition of its commitment to ethical standards, teamwork, strategic leadership, staff welfare, and the creation of a conducive work environment that promotes professionalism and integrity.
Two senior staff members of the Commission were equally recognised for their outstanding service and contributions to public sector governance. The Director of Human Resources, Donald E. Tweede, received a Leadership Award, while Roseline Johnson, Executive Secretary in the Office of the Commissioner, was also honoured for her dedication, professionalism, and exemplary administrative support to the leadership of the Commission.
