DIRECTOR OF INTELLIGENCE AND INVESTIGATIONS

Evelyn Samuella Kuyateh (Nee Walker) was born on the 6th May 1975 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Sociology, and a Master of Arts Degree in Administration. Both from the University of the Sierra Leone

Before joining the Commission, she taught English, Literature and History at the Prince of Wales School, Kingtom, from 1999-2001.

She joined the Commission in February 2001 as an Investigations Officer. In 2006, she was promoted to the position of Senior Investigations Officer, and was in 2008, the Acting Head of Investigations of the ACC.

In 2008 she got promoted to the position of Chief Investigations Officer and from 2011-2013, she served as the ACC Regional Manager Eastern Province. In 2013, she rose to the position of Deputy Director. She is currently the Director of Intelligence and Investigations. A position she has held from 2016 to date. 

Mrs. Kuyateh has wealth of knowledge and experience in Intelligence and Investigations, as she has also participated in numerous professional and specialized training workshops and conferences in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Swaziland, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, USA, to name but a few.

She is an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) 

She is a highly motivated and dedicated person who excels in investigative work, public speaking and relationship building. She has a good interpersonal relationship with proven ability to manage people and resources to achieve desired goals and in a timely manner.  She also possesses an excellent communications, persuasive, and leadership skills.
